Discovering COVE: A Roundtable of Case Studies
Virtual Roundtable
October 11, 2024
10am PDT | 1pm EDT | 6pm BST
Collaborative Organization for Virtual Education (COVE) is a scholar-driven open-access platform that publishes both peer-reviewed material and “flipped classroom” student projects built with online tools. This roundtable will showcase scholarly and classroom uses of COVE Editions & Studio and offer ideas for how researchers and teachers, based at research and teaching universities, liberal arts colleges, public teaching-focused campuses, community colleges, libraries, and high schools can leverage these discovered resources to advance both accessible, inclusive teaching and open-access peer-reviewed scholarly publishing. Panelists will share challenges and breakthroughs that they’ve experienced as well as student impressions and reactions to anthologies, classroom projects, and peer-reviewed digital editions.
We hope that this conversation will be the beginning of a broader global dialogue about how together we can use, remix, and re-assemble COVE resources to create a more equitable and transformative higher education landscape.
